Digital point data of surficial features derived from field work and aerial photograph interpretation. Visual checks have been made of the attributes by the authoring geologist and plotted versions of the data have been checked by a third party.
Completeness Report:
Data were compiled initially through air photo interpretation and were verified in selected locations during field mapping. No fewer than 300 field sites were visited during the course of mapping.

Accuracy of the surface feature interpretations is estimated to be better that +/- 100 m on the ground, based on informed judgement of the effects of all combined map production errors. No formal accuracy check had been conducted to verify the interpretation is correct; however, field site data serve to provide control on interpretation. Site locations are measured with handheld GPS units, whose error is estimated at better than +/- 10 m on the ground. RMS error during georeferencing of the scanned image is less than +/- 10 m.
