Soil is a basic resource humans manipulate for land use for activities. It requires sensible use, protection and proper management in order to realize its inherent potential on a sustainable yield basis. The kind of soil dictates to a large degree the type and location of recreational facilities. The soil information in this report is designed to be used for planning future development in various Provincial Parks of Alberta for such recreational activities.
