Observe Turtle Mountain in Near-Real Time
In 2007, we installed web cameras on Turtle Mountain at South Peak (South Peak webcam) and at the base of the valley (Bellevue webcam) to capture near-real-time images of the Frank Slide. The webcam images are refreshed every 5 minutes and new daily videos are uploaded daily. Lucky observers might even catch glimpses of small rockslides in motion caused by weather and gravity, or hikers and wildlife exploring the peaks. In the summer of 2017 both webcams were upgraded to improve video and photo qualities.

Daily Time-Lapse Videos
Our daily Turtle Mountain videos are time-lapse using images from each of our webcams. The current day's video is updated every hour and covers the last 24 hours. Videos are available for 1 week in the following resolutions: 640 x 480 and 1280 x 960. On moonlit nights, you can often see the outline of the north peak and the nearby mountains.
