Abstract

Soil surveys conducted in the following provincial parks during the summer of 1972: Little Bow, Entrance, Lesser Slave Lake, Beauvais Lake, Bragg Creek, Police Outpost, Woolford and Pigeon Lake. Also included were areas adjacent to Traverse Reservoir, Little Bow Lake Reservoir and Lake McGregor. Total surveyed area approximately 27 000 acres.

The majority of the area mapped was adjacent to McGregor Lake on the northwest side along a 10-mile north-south stretch. A small portion of the mapped area is situated on the northeast side as well.
