Abstract

This map depicts the surficial geology, including line and area features, legend and base-map data of west-central Alberta, within parts of map sheets NTS 83E, 83F, 83G, 83J, 83K and 83L. It is intended to complement AGS Report 93 and is based on a compilation of previously published 1:100 000 scale surficial geology maps in NTS 83K, and new light detection and ranging (LiDAR) mapping based on 2015 field work conducted in NTS 83E. 83F, 83G, 83J and 83L.
