Abstract

This is a compilation of extended abstracts submitted for the 9th Three-Dimensional (3D) Geological Mapping Workshop held at the Geological Society of America Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland on October 31, 2015. This is the latest in a series of workshops that began in 2001.

The focus of the workshop was on how various geoscience organizations and their partners are characterizing subsurface strata in 3D space at a variety of scales for multi-disciplinary analysis, and developing dissemination mechanisms to communicate data and information to a variety of stakeholders.
