Abstract

This is a compilation of extended abstracts submitted for the 12th Three-Dimensional (3D) Geological Mapping Workshop held at the Geological Society of America Annual Meeting in Anaheim, California September 20-21, 2024. This is the latest in a series of workshops that began in 2001.
The objective of this 2-day workshop is for provincial, state, national and federal geoscience organizations and their partners to share information on program strategy, modelling approaches, case studies, and mechanisms for sharing 3D models and data with stakeholders. Presenters will highlight how they are characterizing subsurface strata in 3D space at a variety of scales for multi-disciplinary analysis, and developing dissemination mechanisms to communicate data and information to a variety of stakeholders.
