Abstract

A map of specialty metal occurrences in northern Alberta (north of 56� latitude) compiled from Alberta Geological Survey publications, mineral assessment reports and company news releases. The location, commodity and source of each of the 16 occurrences are listed in a table on the map. The specialty metal commodities identified include rare-earth elements, phosphorous, thorium, molybdenum, nickel, vanadium, zinc, copper, cobalt, titanium, zirconium and lithium.
