This grid represents the hydraulic head distribution in the Gilwood Member (Watt Mountain Formation) in Alberta. The grid is a result of a geostatistical model constructed using pressure data from oil and gas drillstem tests and a reference formation water density of 1.117 g/cm3, representative of formation waters in the Gilwood Member and Granite Wash.
The hydraulic head surface was mapped at a regional scale using many years of data, thus providing a general indication of regional groundwater flow within the unit rather than site-specific values.
