This digital data release includes proximate analysis results for selected samples of Alberta stratigraphic units evaluated for their shale- and siltstone-hosted hydrocarbon resource potential. The strata evaluated include the:
- basal Banff Formation
- Exshaw Formation,
- Fernie Formation
- Blackstone Formation,
- Pelican Formation,
- Westgate Formation,
- Fish Scales Formation,
- Lea Park Formation, and
- Second White Specks Formation.
