Abstract

This grid dataset represents the modelled top of basal coarse-grained sediment (typically fluvial in genesis and directly overlying bedrock) in the Edmonton–Wabamun regional hydrostratigraphic investigation study area. Basal coarse-grained sediment thickness is equivalent to the elevation difference between this surface and the bedrock topography surface. Where the elevation of this surface is equal to that of the bedrock topography, basal coarse-grained sediment is modelled as absent.
