This digital data release contains the results of whole-rock geochemical analyses aimed at evaluating the potential of Permian, Triassic, and Jurassic rocks in the Front Ranges of the Rocky Mountains to host rare earth elements (REEs) and other economically valuable metals within phosphatic zones. The rock samples analyzed were collected by Alberta Geologic Survey personnel from four locations south of Nordegg, Alberta, over two days during the 2024 field season. Geological observations were captured for 22 stations, and 26 samples were collected for additional analysis. This dataset includes all data generated during the fieldwork and the whole-rock lithogeochemistry results from the lab.
This work was completed under the Mineral Grant provided by the Government of Alberta on June 22, 2021.
