Northern Alberta RADARSAT-1 Imagery

This interactive map allows users to view and download orthorectified and mosaicked RADARSAT-1 imagery originally acquired between 1999 and 2002, covering northern Alberta (55°-60°N). Links are provided for each National Topographic System 1:250, 000 scale map area to download the imagery for that map area from the Alberta Geological Survey website.

Each download (ZIP) file contains orthorectified and mosaicked Standard Beam Mode S1 and S7 imagery in both ascending and descending look directions. In addition, it contains principal component images (PC1, PC2, PC3 and PC4) derived from the four beam position images and also the AGS Geo-Note document (in PDF format) describing the data and the processing used to create the imagery files.
