Abstract
 

The Metallic and Industrial Minerals of Alberta - Mineral Commodity Profiles is a series of resource analyses statements on the nonfuel mineral commodities of Alberta. Each profile presents a review and evaluation of an individual mineral, and serves as a basic reference work and guide in the formulation of research programs. The following minerals are profiled in this report: dimension stone, gypsum, phosphate, silica, platinum-group elements and zirconium.
