Abstract

The Alberta Interactive Minerals Map (AIMM) is a web-based interactive application publicly available since 2015 and updated with new data in January 2021. AIMM provides various mineral data and other relevant information to inform government, industry and the public about mineral resources in Alberta. The map allows users to visualize, explore, query, and filter minerals data, and also allows the user to overlap own data to visualize on AIMM. The mineral data can be downloaded in different formats through the map interface directing users to our Open Data Portal which features a subset of our GIS data for download.
